Refunds
Refund Policy
This policy covers paid lesson bookings made through InClasso. It explains what you get back when a session is cancelled or missed, and how to ask us to look again.
What you get back
| Situation | Refund | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| The teacher cancels | 100% | If a teacher cancels a booked session for any reason, you receive a full refund of everything you paid. |
| The teacher does not attend | 100% | If a teacher does not join a scheduled session, the booking is treated as a teacher no-show and refunded in full. |
| You cancel more than 24 hours ahead | 100% | Cancelling with at least 24 hours' notice before the session start time is a full refund. Some teachers set a longer notice window; the window that applies to your booking is shown on the booking itself. |
| You cancel within 24 hours | 50% | A late cancellation refunds 50% of the amount paid. The remainder compensates the teacher for time they had already set aside and can no longer fill. |
| The learner does not attend | 50% | If nobody joins a session that the teacher attended, 50% is refunded, on the same basis as a late cancellation. |
| We cancel a session | 100% | If InClasso cancels a session — for a safety review, a platform fault, or any administrative reason — you receive a full refund. |
How refunds are paid
- Refunds return to the original payment method. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card or account.
- We start the refund as soon as the cancellation is recorded. Your bank or card issuer decides when it appears on your statement — usually a few business days.
- You are refunded the amount you paid for the session. Where a refund is partial, the percentage above is applied to that amount.
- Cancelling a session also cancels the scheduled session itself, so you are never charged twice for the same booking.
If you disagree with an outcome
If a session did not happen as booked, or a refund does not look right, raise a dispute and our team will review the booking. Parents and guardians can open one from the booking in their account.
Safety concerns are handled separately and take priority over any billing question — report those through the safety tools in the app and we will action them first.
